Sa-da-ko announce new line up.

Sa-da-kO - Project 2013 22/2/13

As you may have gathered from my last post we have had a few line up issues of late, with the departure of our original members Rob Morris & Jay Deano we have had the hard task of replacing a bass player and guitarist.

After our reach out via facebook we were amazed by the response and we are now happy to say we have found guys that are able to fit these massive shoes and shirts and ties.

So without further ado I would like to formally welcome Carl Emsley and Alex Burnell as new members to the Sa-da-ko fold. not only have the guys been able to learn the material in record time we believe that these guys will be able to add a little something extra to the crew.

We are currently working away at perfecting the set and and ensuring that 2013 is going to be a land mark year for the band,  building a tour for this year and we have already secured some decent festival slots.

On a side note I would like to thank again everyone who has supported the band so far and every musicina who came and jammed with us during our search, we had  chance to meet some of the finest muso's and some new friends along the way.

Sa-da-kO - Announce Album Release Date & 2 Day Launch Party

12/02/13 - Words unspoken...2 day bender on the horizon.

Right, let me start by saying that we've had a lot on the last few months and although it may appear that we have been away from the outside there has been a lot of panicking within the ranks,

Firstly it’s no secret we've had a few line up problems and with the departure of our bass player Bobbie and guitar player Deano we have been forced to evaluate things and talk about the future of the band.

Bobbie has had lot of problems regarding his wrist and it was really effecting his playing and Deano’s family/work life commitments have grown significantly this year to the point where he has been unable to juggle everything. This has meant that both lads have decided to call it a day.

It’s all very amicable and there are no hard feelings at all in fact it quite the opposite, we have become very good friends over the years and will still continue to do so however having to make decisions and watching our friends make hard life decisions has been one of the most difficult things we have had to go through as band.

I don’t want to dwell too much but both lads know that they always will be part of Sa-da-kO and its growth and that they will always be in the heart of it..

Right no more gaying about.......... (sniff I’m not crying I’m cutting onions!)

So, We have a new line up, this will be unveiled shortly but  more importantly “Awakenings” is finished and we are currently working on getting it out and about to reviewers, press and industry type folks.

We have set the date for release, and are having one hell of a party to celebrate, in fact we are putting on a 2 day festival in Southport on the 25th-26th of May to mark the occasion and why the hell not?
  •  It’s by the sea
  • It has a fair
  •  It has takeaways everywhere
  • Tons of B&B’s
  • Weird drunken types everywhere
  • It’s practically a festival site already, just add metal!

Heres the line up teaser poster I announced yesterday

There’s loads more to add so keep posted by joining the event  on facebook and I will try my best to keep up to date on things.

Right should have more news soon, until then see yaz later
