Opencart blog manger

I'm currently trying to move this blog over to our new site, I'm already displaying about the last 5 pages on the blog tabs but i want more, a lot more.

Over the last few years some of you may know I've been working in SEO or flirting with it really but I'm finding more and more of it interesting in relation to marketing my band and merch etc, I have done a number of marketing posts in this blog on how to help people market their band better on the web but I wanted to do something different with our webstore.

In essence I'm trying to integrate this blog our store, this will allow us to mider more about what we are upto and relate these to bits of merch and events that we have on our site.

You can do this using Java script widget which I use at the moment from https://www.rssinclude.com/ its free but allows me to fire info from here directly to www.sa-da-ko.com on any page I want. The bad news is that google will only read the widget code and not the information I have inputted in my blog, so in essence my blog is associated by link and not by content. its not bad but I want more google power!!!

So how do I embed this information, well Ive looked into a few options including a bit of code that I couldn't get my head round that embeds the RSS feed but I may have found the answer. if anyone has tried to do this before let me know.

My aim is to use an extension for opencart (our webstore platform) and use a blog extension this will give me what I need if I can just install the damn thing!!!

anyway I'm just hoping that I can move old articles from here over but if not I may end up getting all copy n pastey over the next year or so.

I don't know Im sharing this with you btw, I usually keep brain farts like this  to my self but as I'm reading up on blogs and things I thought I would contribute a bit of bullshit to cyber space. I may keep you updated on this or might just do what I was supposed to and keep this updated with band news hahah

  1. Hey. Not sure what you trying to do. But, if you want your Blogger/Blogspot post being shown on any of your websites, just use Feedburner. It gives you the code to embed into your website/websites, and basically reads the content from RSS. Even though it would not show up as HTML (cuz it's Javascript code that reads the content in real time), you don't wanna have the same content in more than one site, because otherwise, your content is not unique anymore, and Search Engines don't like same content on different sites, it's seen as spam. So, if you don't wanna get your websites ranked lower, keep unique content in each of them. As long as it's just Javascript code what Search Engine is reading, it's fine.
